Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic we provide clients with compliance updates on the latest Covid-19 local rules governing protection of the local population and businesses.
In relation to many of our multi-million M&A deals we have provided competition law advice and support to our clients. In this context we assist with the competition clearance applications and follow through to conclusion. We also work with specialists where there are competition issues which affect clients locally.
In the Data Protection field, with the implementation of GDPR in Europe we have been monitoring the Turkish law developments and providing clients with ongoing updates and also supporting them with surveys of their compliance and assisting with ensuring they are up-to-scratch with the latest requirements. Although Turkish law follows many of the GDPR provisions there are some local nuances of which clients need to be made aware.
In the Telecoms and IT sectors we have also been assisting clients who are subject to notification and quota reporting under specialist compliance legislation. Plus, we assist with monitoring and advising on compliance issues relating to a number of banking clients including AMEX and Union Pay.
Finally, we provide compliance support to some major clients in the Telecoms and industrial sector in relation to their local capital market listings.
