Our Corporate M&A work is headed by Partner Nihan Yigit. She has a strong team of highly skilled lawyers who have wide range of M&A project experience. Over the years the team has worked on M&A projects across many sectors including, industrial, agricultural, IT, telecom, retail, health, banking, leisure, energy and resource deals.

In the typical deal we will assist the clients to make their acquisition (which sometimes includes competition clearance or other support with compliance issues) and if they are taking over the local business we will assist through each step of the acquisition and then advise on the implementation of their strategies in the new business. At this point we step into the role of day-to-day business adviser for all legal support aspects of the local business.

We have also carried out a large number of business setup projects for foreign investors coming to Turkey in a variety of sectors. Once established again we assist with their day-to- day business law advice and often take on their corporate secretarial work and commercial contract support.

The corporate team also provides day to day corporate law support for some very significant multinational clients with long term business establishments in Turkey. This includes general legal advice, commercial contract support, compliance and corporate secretarial services. The corporate secretarial team currently services the needs of over 50 blue chip multinational clients with establishments all around Turkey.
